Photo Release & Usage Policy

“Photographer” refers to Adeptography, the sole owner of the images created during the session.
“Client” refers to the individual(s) or entity engaging the Photographer’s services.
“Images” refer to any photographs, digital files, or other visual media created by the Photographer.

All copyright and intellectual property rights to the Images remain the sole property of the Photographer.
The Client receives a license to use the Images for personal, non-commercial purposes (unless otherwise stipulated in a separate contract).

By participating in any photo session with the Photographer, the Client and any individuals included in the Images grant the Photographer permission to use and publish the Images (including those in which the Client or any individuals may appear) in any and all media, for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to portfolio display, advertising, website or social media promotion, studio display, editorial use, and professional competition.
This release is irrevocable, worldwide, and perpetual and includes the right to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute, or create derivative works without restriction or payment.

Personal Use: The Client may post, share, and print the Images for personal use. Examples include social media profiles, family albums, and personal websites.
Non-Commercial Use: The Client may not sell or license the Images for profit, or otherwise use the Images commercially, without written permission from the Photographer.
Opt-Out: If the Client wishes not to have their Images featured in the Photographer’s promotional materials, an explicit written request must be submitted before or at the time of the shoot.

If any individuals are under the age of 18, the Client confirms they are the parent or legal guardian, or have the authority to provide consent on behalf of the minor(s).
The Photographer will not publish or use any Images of minors if the appropriate consent has not been provided.

The Client waives any right to inspect or approve the final products, advertising copy, or printed matter that may be used in conjunction with Images, and the use to which it might be applied.
The Client releases and discharges the Photographer from any claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise from the use of the Images, including any claims of defamation or invasion of privacy.

In the event of a dispute regarding Image usage or release, the Client agrees to notify the Photographer immediately and work toward a mutually acceptable resolution before pursuing any legal avenues.

The Photographer reserves the right to modify or update this Photo Release & Usage Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Photographer’s services or Images constitutes acceptance of those changes.
